Research has shown losing just one hour of sleep per night can cause a significant drop in grades.

VCE Students Learning about FatigueCarolyn Preiss, director of Alert Fatigue Management presents a 55-minute keynote presentation, ‘Staying Alert’. This is designed to prepare year 11 & 12 students on how to minimise the risks and effects of fatigue and sleep deprivation caused by exams, stress and life in general.

Carolyn is an accredited fatigue trainer, qualified personal trainer, TAFE teacher, lifestyle coach and is currently completing a Master Degree in Business Management. She has the ultimate understanding of the impact of fatigue and sleep deprivation through years of juggling full-time shift-work and study. Carolyn is a regular guest presenter for the ‘Shine’ and ‘Poll Position’ programs

Carolyn shares her experiences and wisdom. She will help students to better manage their hectic lives and still have a good night sleep.
